Stayed here two nights for a business trip. The single room was just the right size, not monstrous like an American hotel, or tiny like a downtown European city hotel. Friendly and courteous staff and they were always available. Very relaxing and wonderful, will come back for pleasure next time.

I stay at the Erbprinz every time I have to travel to this part of Germany. The hotel has a lot of charm and offers a very friendly and attentive staff coupled with the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. For an American used to larger chain hotels it was a bit of a shock on my first visit but after experiencing the hotel, the excellent staff, and charming village of Ettlingen I keep coming back. The rooms in the old part of the hotel where I stay are small but comfortable. The staff seems to be the same every time I visit which is very comforting. And everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff all take the time to greet you when you walk by and really focus on providing the best service possible. A light rail stop is just next to the hotel so it is very easy to get to and from Karlsruhe to connect to the train to Frankfurt.

This is a 5 star hotel at a very affordable price. Old style hospitality offered in a beautiful hotel that could not be faulted on any level. The room was large and very comfortable and it had one of the best ensuite bathrooms we have ever experienced. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant where we had both dinner and breakfast - both excellent experiences. Staff are very friendly and always tried very hard to accommodate the English language. I had business in Karlsruhe and Ettlingen is a stones throw away from there. It makes a huge difference staying in an old German village environment rather than a city environment.

Spent there one night on a business trip to Waldbronn. This hotel is aimed rather as a spa and wellness centre. The location is close to the town centre. Staff are friendly and professional. Single room was a tad smaller, but OK for one. The equipment was relatively new, but I felt a little bit like in a budoir (the decor made the feel), to say it politely;) The rooms are well kept, cleanliness was good. Bathroom was spacious, very clean and bright. WiFi internet in my room worked very well. Breakfast offer large varieties of tasty food. Would stay there again.
