I can't really find a reason not to stay here. The location is just perfect, close to Hamburg but still in a rather calm area. The Autobahn close by makes it easy to access the hotel. The rooms are fully acceptable in all senses and a great value for money. I recommend it.

I stayed here about 2 years ago and the room was basic and clean. BUT this year i was amazed. last time the rooms for 2 adults and child were on the ground floor with the shower and toilet in the same corner. The refurbishment has improved the rooms tremendously as now the toilet is serperated from the showerbut the room was on the first floor. there is better lighting (my son absolutely loved it). the room was more spacious (some how) and the shower had coloured lights. The breakfast was 6 Euros per person but I found that McDonalds was within a 5 min walk and also the local supermarket (Familia) had a bakery and all the essentials. please note there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Location wise it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very polite. The guy at the desk let us checkout a bit later than expected (on request). I paid 44 Euros per nite for 7 nights online, the price on the spot would have been more than 53. The double bed and single top bunk were comfortable and we were not disturbed if we left the sign out. The room was cleaned every day except the day when we left around 2pm. I guess the cleaner had probably gone :-)

Cheap, clean, good shower, free wi-fi, basically all you need when all you need is a place to sleep. I regretted ordering the breakfast though, it's not worth six euros (nothing fresh except a boiled egg) and it turned out there was a McDonalds over the road with more variety for better prices. Nice with the vending machine with good beer at a good price though.

I'm giving them full marks despite the rubbish breakfast, it was optional after all.
