It's all been said. The rooms have not been cared for. Grubby and moldy. Breakfast ok and the lady very friendly. Bit wary paying up front in smokey bar under the hotel. Location very good

We enjoyed our stay very much.
Rooms are basic but clean & warm (important in December!).
The staff and owner were extremely hospitable.
The food was very tasty - recommend the moussaka and the scampi.
The location excellent - opposite a pretty little park and yet quite close to the town centre.
The bus service to Strassbourg was extremely convenient and reliable.

Only slight drawback was noise carrying from other guests' bedrooms - but this was really only a problem at the weekend, when presumably the hotel was full.

This makes no pretence to be anything but very basic. I first have to say that the lady who served us breakfast was absolutely delightful - warm, smiling, lovely. But the bloke!..(her husband??...hope not, for her sake) was a man definitely in the wrong job. From start to finish he made us feel we were being an intrusive B. nuisance. Won't bore you with the details...but don't go there.
