This is a beautiful hotel with nice comfortable suites (the TVs are small and old). The facilities are very clean and the grounds are well kept. The spa is excellent and well staffed. One negative aspect is that internet access is only available in the common areas and not in the guest suites.
We had one very bad meal with cold food that was burnt. Unfortunately the staff was very inexperienced and did not know how doe deal with a complaint on the food. When requesting to speak to the manager I was told he was off. I later found out that indeed he was there and when commenting on our experience with food and staff he got defensive and wanted to argue. Food and service improved after that incident.

We spend our honeymoon in Hohwacht at this place and went back there several times with the whole family. They have really nice suites with a view of the Baltic Sea, nice appartments and spacious lofts. There food and wellness area are great. There is 18 whole golf course near by. So overall it is a great getaway for weekends or longer holidays at the lovely Baltic coast with nice beaches.
