This hotel is nothing spectacular, but great for a stop-over. We paid a third compared to staying downtown at the LeMeridien. We had a rate for two incl. BF at 80 EUR. The room is clean, the bed is fine for a night, the bathroom is functional, and the teamaker is there too.
If you intend to go shopping this isn´t the place to stay, neither for great dinners. However BF was fine, the selection appropriate and for the price a fair deal. Accross the road there is a drugstore (DM) and you would be able to find some small things you need before you travel onwards.
The hotel´s garage was not too full and a great choice for our rent a car.
My advice: If you wish to save money for shopping stay at the Holiday Inn for a night. For longer stays there are better located hotels.

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip and the best part about this hotel is that it is near the airport. The hotel is neat clean and staff is also very good. But the only problem is that it does not have a restaurant. So you cannot have a meal except breakfast here which could be tricky in case you are not the one who is gonna explore out. They are some nearby restaurants but they are closed on Sunday...the day i actually landed in Stuttgart.

We where booked in another hotel but due to constructions there we change the hotel and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. It was the best decision, the hotel was very clean, ample of space and very comfortable beds. The complimentary breakfast had a very good selection of good quality food items.
Arriving by your own car is challenging as the driveway is not easy to find.
Overall I will definitely stay there again

I used my satnav and walked from the airport - quite a pleasant walk; the next day I walked to the schnellbahn station.

This is a nice hotel and it offers 'snacks'. I had a pizza and a beer and was very happy.

I agree with other reviewers that, as a platinum member, there is no real upgrade - but they did give me a quiet room with no connecting door. Cheap and cheerful.
