we have just stayed here for a three night break with ledger coach holidays the room was not over large but the twin room we shared was fine everything was nice and clean bedding towels etc however we did request a extra pillow on arrival and again the following day it never arrived dispite assurances. The breakfast was perfectly ok with plenty of choice infact was expecting only continental but full english also avialable ,we had a evening meal only on one night this also was very nice only had two courses but four available for 19 euros drinks in the bar were expensive but so are many hotels. It was a little out of town but we walked to the village for the christmas market which was lovley and it took us only twenty minutes a very pretty villageThis is good hotel overall one thing i would of liked was tea/coffee making facilities there was however a mini bar at usual cost

We booked here on a recent business trip and discovered we had 2 single beds. As we only had 10 minutes to check in and change for a dinner meeting, we didn't bother to change as we just didn't have time. We arrived back at the Hotel after Dinner and decided to have a drink in the bar, there had no GERMAN wine only dry, no Malibu, no disaronno so I asked for a Pina Colada... what a mistake, the ice cubes were solid and it tasted like a milky Baileys gone wrong. The room was so hot through the night and no air-conditioning so we had to open a window and listen to the local traffic. The breakfast was poor, hard probably frozen croissants and a deserted Hotel. I wont stay here again as it was clear by the non existing guests that we had made the wrong choice.

room was small but fine for somewhere too sleep didn t plan on spending much time in room very clean and clean towels daily staff all very helpfull we were unsure how 2 return 2 airport and receptionist was very helpful. the spa was very good and clean. unable 2 comment on food as only ate lunch one day but was fine drinks in bar was an issue as we were well overcharged it said on menu 4.50 euro s thou we we re charged 8 euros 4 one beer!!!! only drink we had. mettmann a very quiet area and we were led 2 believe by staff there was only one pub in town when infact we found several and we re made 2 feel very welcome not much else 2 do fine 4 a wkend break wouldn t stay 4 a week or with children!!!

We stayed here on a European trip and had booked a superior room. They firstly checked us in to a standard room which was the size of a matchbox until I pointed out their mistake. The superior was much larger with a two seater sofa, but nothing soecial. Old TV, two single beds, room overlooking the car park quite disappointing as we paid about 80 pounds ber night. We had to request tea coffee and kettle as weren't in the room. Every day the same, had to request. The bistro food was nice and reasonably priced. the sauna and spa jets good. However the gym was only open from about 5pm which after a busy sightseeing day is not very convenient or tempting. Early morning opening would have been more appropriate when most people are keener to exercise. didn't try the breakfast as paid enough for the room. Room service menu not bad but some extortionate service charge for the privillege of bringing a tray to the room so we didn't bother. I say Not for the English as there was no tourist information as such, more for the business person and not much in English although I speak some German. Reception fairly helpful and anything requested was immediately attended to.
