Room: #126, off (not too loud) side-street, facing a quiet neighbourhood; primary school adjacent, with kids off in the afternoon, so not a factor; nice, clean, quiet, tiles in bathroom by Meissen ;-) ;
provided delivery service (food, etc.) doesn’t approach at 7 in the morning, a quiet room.
Internet: EUR 1 / hour ! Card / access code provided by hotel – a perfect deal , as internet is fast, too. You don’t have to pay for 24 hours when you only need one or two – that’s fair !
Breakfast: a greater variety than at the huge Hotel Leonardo/Weimar, the day before [see review of respective hotel].

“A pleasant surprise in a small town”
This is a most pleasant hotel in a very good location facing the castle gardens. Rooms well equipped, bathroom well-appointed. My room (#210) was with shower only which serves me well. Lifts a bit slow. Reception staff most helpful and accommodating. Restaurants are pleasant, the Orangerie airy and bright, the Lucas Cranach more intimate. Breakfast (included in room rate) is sumptious, dining off a locally inspired menu is very satisfactory, beware of too large portions!.
