This is a very beautiful place, albeit pricy. Let me get my only grudge off my chest right away, I was part of a big wedding party and showed up quite early and asked if there was any way to get a room earlier, but they stuck to their 15:00 check in rule (i needed to change badly). Then I ran into other people from the same party, and THEY got their room EARLIER ... so .. back to the front desk, and the 2 cute ladies there tried everything to accommodate me and to top it off, we were upgraded to the 'romantic suite' ... which was just great.

We had a really good time, the suite was super clean (even though I had rushed the cleaning crew) and 2 rooms, 2 TVs, one of them with internet / wireless keyboard ... just posh.

Another thing I really enjoyed was the breakfast next morning. Very lush, including Prosecco and the very typical north sea briny shrimp, which you can buy at fish stores for 3.99€ / 100gramms, and they had a big portion, no stinginess detected. Also smoked salmon, and eggs either soft or hard boiled ...

I'd love to go again ... if I ever run across a great offer and get upgraded again :)

One thing I found a bit weird, the website and promo material makes it look like the beach belongs to the hotel, but it is a public beach that you actually have to pay for to get on. I think the hotel could easily put that into the (steep) room price.
