We stayed here for one night as we live in the local area but wanted a little break, somewhere not too expensive.
We arrived late and quickly got keys and shown our room. There was parking around the back and the staff were very friendly and accomodating - we asked when check-out was and they said "Ohhh normally 11am but 12/1 is fine!".
The room wasn't the most modern, beautiful decor ever but it was very clean and tidy and had a charm about it that is lost in other hotels. Mini packs of Haribo were left by the beds! Beds were comfy with 2 pillows each and nice duvets. Our room had a private balcony and curtains did a superb job of blocking out the light in the morning for a good lie-in!
The bathroom was spotless with an excellent powerful shower/bath combi... not like the ones you usually get in hotels that drip warm water slowly onto your head.
Breakfast buffet was amazing - especially since it was included in the price. All the traditional German foods plus cooked breakfasts, cereals, breads, jams, yoghurts etc. Once again, the staff at reception were lovely - as were all the staff we encountered.
Internet is free-ish - you just need to provide a small deposit for the cable to get onto the network.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning again soon! Can't wait!
