A most pleasant experience. Our room was comfortable and cozy. Shoes were shined daily and new fruit and chocolate were placed in the room every morning. We also enjoyed the pool area and had a tremendous new years eve in the palio restaurant. Breakfast was beyond our expectation as was the service. We would love to come back, but only if we would get a good offer again!

I stay there once or twice a year when they have special actions going on, like special meals or an arrangement. The staff is always friendly and helpful the place is spotless clean, the breakfast superb. The spa is down in the cellar and has one sauna and a medium sized pool so fine for a day. The rooms (not the suites though) are a bit of a letdown they are mostly in a modern building which does not look too good and the rooms have the 70´s space, so not quite following the standard of the hotel in terms of quality. Nevertheless on such occasions the room is not frequented anyway.

I just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. This was my second stay here. On this visit, my room was in the annex and faced the courtyard. The room was spacious and very clean. My only issue was with the heat. I was able to open the patio door to get some relief and sleep through the night. I would suggest that you request a courtyard-facing room, as the rooms across the hallway were quite small.

The service here is impeccable and the breakfast is a delight. I was very disappointed with the Italian restaurant on this visit. On my first visit I was very impressed with the food. Maybe it was just an off night for the chefs. Howeve at those prices, they should not have any off nights.

I've stayed here several times and while it's clean, it is not somewhere I would stay out of choice, however I am assured by others it is the best in the local area.

On my last trip it was obscenely hot (even the locals were struggling) none of our rooms had air con, neither did any of the reception areas or restaurants and they didn't have enough fans for all of us.

The rooms and bathrooms are very small and the decor is dated. The beds are comfortable and the food is very good (expensive) but they don't seem to chill their drinks so all the water was severed at the room temperature which was hot!

They charged for internet and this was expensive as was room service (10 Euros for 1.5litres of water).

It does have a great location and is within easy walking distance of the town centre which is beautiful.
