Hotel had fairly small rooms/bathroom, but was certainly adequate. Excellent breakfast included in price. Secure parking behind the hotel for 6 euros. Located a few blocks from the lake, near restaurants and shops.

Our rooms were huge, well apointed and clean. The hotel is in a great location, walking only a few minutes to catch the city buses and just a block or so from the waterfront. The area was safe and on Thur morning had an awesome market. Great coffee show nearby too.

We booked a double room at the City Krone, and were amazed by the rooms we were offered. We had been given the Zeppelin Suite-an apartment on the fourth floor of the hotel with lift access-in fact on a floor by itself. The apartment was outstanding!! Beautiful spacious modern lounge with log-burning stove, raised dining area with glass roof; roof terrace with view of lake; bathroom with jacuzzi bath and large walk-in shower, large double bedroom with remote controlled reclining/tilting bed; wood floors; leather furniture; fitted kitchen with dishwasher, etc. This was a totally unexpected surprise and way beyond our expectations. With no other rooms on this floor, the apartment was secluded, quiet and romantic, yet still a part of the hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and breakfasts in the pleasant restaurant provided a wide variety of choices-well presented. For a four star hotel, this was exceptional!

The hotel is a truly european styled accomodation, restaurant combination with extremely courteous staff.
