Was looking for a place that was convenient, had parking, internet and not too far from the action, along with a good price (under 100 euros) and found them all here at the BW Bamberg. The hotel is pretty new, modern and just lovely. The staff friendly and attractive (well, except for the morning phone call asking me if I was going to be departing and that it would be nice if I left since check out time was up - but I'll chalk that up to German efficiency rather than outright rudeness).

Breakfast was good and varied. I probably ate too much. The rooms were modern and very comfortable, Internet was great and the parking garage was nice too.

Easy walk to the center of town and there's a couple of places to eat nearby as well. A great place to stay and I definitely recommend!

A VERY good hotel rigth in the center of town, very modern and new. Large and very modern room with all facilities needed. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Bar a bit small, hotel located close to a number off good place to dine, do try the Bamberg smoked beer, very special, the locals love it but after 1 !!!! Very good breakfirst, but at the same time a big group of turist stayed there, so the restaurant were close to full and very noicy but food was excelent. Will for sure use this hotel again.

I stayed here for two nights in September. The hotel is ideally place 5 minutes from the train station and a fifteen minute walk to the old town. Within 2 minutes of the hotel are two excellent breweries. The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast is quite good with a selection of hot foods and typical German meats and cheeses. The hotel is effectively a no frills, modern hotel in a decent location. I would recommend it for people looking for a good place to stay in Bamberg away from the old town.

Stayed here with a group of friends on 29-31st October this year. First time we had stayed here; previously stayed in some of the old hotels in the Altstadt and in the Faessla.

Would certainly stay here again. I would highlight the following:-

1. Rooms are excellent. Large, spacious and spotless. Good bathroom and large stand in shower area. Good pressure in water. Lsrge flat screen TV

2. Very reasonably priced. Single room had two twin beds so if you had two sharing cost would have been only €37.50 per night per person including breakfast. Great value.

3. Location is excellent. Only 5 mins from Train station. 10 mins walk from old town. Really good organic supermarket next door while famous Spezial and Faessla breweries are just 1 monute walk around the corner.

5. Wifi is free and works! You just get code from reception.

6. Superb buffet breakfast.

7. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Only slight downside is the pillows are not great but this is a feature of nearly every German Hotel I've stayed in.
