This is a great little hotel in a small town called Litzelstetten about 20 minutes bus ride from Konstanz.
The rooms are very spacious with a sofa, large desk, flat screen TV and a king sized bed which is comprised of two single mattresses on a king base (typcially German I've discovered).
The staff are very friendly and helpful and try their best to speak English if your German isn't too good (that's me!).
Internet is very affordable at 5E for 24 hours, and you can buy shorter periods if preferred.
The restaurant is really comfortable and the food is good. They tend to have "theme nights" during the week, e.g. Asian food night, Italian buffet. The cocktail list is decent and the cocktails are very tasty. Breakfast is good and their coffee is great. There is also a Wii lounge and a coffee lounge.
The only slight downside is that some of the rooms at the front of the hotel are quite light and the gappy outside blind (no block-out curtains in the room) lets all the car headlights brighten your room when you're trying to sleep. I asked at Reception after our first night in a front room, and they immediately moved us to a room with no front window.
We'd stay here again.
