We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting our daughter on a 1 year class at the local University. The hotel was easy to find but parking was expensive in a local multi story - 14 EUR a day, more if you drove in and out during the day. On checkout I found you could buy a cheaper multi day ticket from the hotel, not mentioned on the website.
The price was reasonable and it is in a nice central location but is on top of a Macdonalds. This was a noisy meeting place at 2AM for teenagers on Friday and Saturday but was OK the other nights. Breakfast was included in our booking but is in the Macdonalds, not my usual place to start the day. But they do 2 croissants with jam and coffee which was OK. There is a full service hotel nearby where you can pay extra and get the breakfast buffet, we never tried it but another guest said it was really good.
Room was clean and large but sparsely decorated and looked a bit barren, beds were comfortable, TV only had 1 English channel (CNN) - not a criticism as I am in Germany but just a note if you are looking for that kind of thing. It wasn't the kind of room I would look forward to going back to and relaxing in, more of a place to just to sleep in.
Location was excellent, close to the centre and within walking distance of most attractions. Many local restaurants offering great food (ask for an English menu - most have them) and the sightseeing locally is excellent. Take a ferry to Meersburg on a sunny day and walk around the old town.
Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English compared to my abysmal schoolboy German.
Overall a decent stay, on a price basis I would stay here again because it is a lot cheaper than other hotels in the town centre and with the Pound tanking against the Euro that becomes one of the main considerations.
