Stayed here in Christmas to New Year period, 2011.

Staff were very friendly.

Room was clean and tidy and perhaps a little small if you are carrying more than one large suitcase each - otherwise it was fine.

Good value.

Excellent breakfast.

Very good location in centre of the old town (the most interesting bit).

Recommended unless travelling with heaps of luggage.

We stayed for 5 nights after Christmas 2010, my husband & myself & 2 children. The double room was a fair size, clean & comfortable - however it would have been nice to have a balcony or larger windows. The single rooms were adequate, although very small.

The staff were very helpful & friendly with the reception being open until 11 at night, which is great for a late check-in! The breakfasts were plentiful with lots of choice. The restaurant looked really nice, but we didn't eat there at all, as it was a bit pricey for us with the unfavorable SA Rand / Euro exchange rate!

The location is perfect in the old town - close to all shops, restaurants, night life and railway station.

We would stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are not large but are clean and well kept. The restaurant is quite good and the desk staff are helpful for tourists.
