My wife and i enjoyed two nights at Riva in November 2011. It is a fabulous hotel, easy to find, in a wonderful location on the lake and close enough to be able to walk into the town. The rooms are fabulous and of high quality - very comfortable bed ! Wifi is RUBBISH here, which is a shame because its the only problem we encountered with the hotel. For a hotel that prides itself on business facilities and clientele, this is a problem which could deter potential clients from staying here. Take note Riva !!

Aside from the wifi issue, everything else superb. Great restaurant, good bar and great spa facilities. Staff friendly and helpful when suggesting things to do.

Stayed at the Riva for one night as part of a business conference. In a nutshell, it is a fabulous place with a special feel to it, in a stunning location on the north bank of the lake. One or two niggles stopped me from awarding this the full five stars, but it was close!

Checkin was efficient and welcoming. Sadly, it took them three attempts to give me a room key that worked, but once I could get in to my room it was worth the wait. Beautiful, stylish, subtle and classy - lots of wood and natural materials, plenty of space, top quality furnishings. My room was at the back of the hotel on the ground floor, so no view except of the apartment block to the rear, but I had my own little garden, complete with garden furniture. I am told the rooms on the upper floors are even nicer.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly, service was professional and discreet. The place must have incredible soundproofing as I have never had such a quiet and peaceful night sleep in my life. What made it even nicer is that it is a small hotel, or at least has that feel to it, so you really feel you have this privilege all to yourself...

The biggest drawback was the lousy internet (I was here for a business conference, so this was pretty important). Service was unreliable and cut out every few minutes. Other reviewers have made similar comments. Get this one fixed, Hotel Riva, and you really have the perfect package!

Great location, excellent breakfast (included) very nice rooms and outstanding service. The flaw was the Internet service. It simply did not work with my iPad or iPhone. It was a known problem but no one seemed to want to do anything about it. I will stay there again but only if they fix the Internet connection issue

I stayed in the Riva for three nights whilst in Konstanz for business. It was about a 45 min taxi journey from Zurich airport and is located right on the lake, within walking distance of the city centre.

As for the accommodation itself, the property is top in its class – a true five star hotel. The rooms are large, modern, clean and comfortable. Mine came complete with a large deck, separate seating area (with a sofa and chair), separate bathroom, shower and tub (though this depends on the type of room you get). And I can’t forget to mention the rooftop pool! There are also other nice touches, such as free shoe shining at night, free breakfast (very good), free broadband, a free mini bar and over 200 TV channels...just to name a few.

The service is impeccable. There isn’t much more to say about that!

I would definitely stay at the Riva again...book with confidence.
