Due to christmas parties I could not find a parking space and was forced to drive to the garage. Hotel customers should have privileged parking.
On the morning of 18th Dec. there was no hot water running and there was not - "sorry for the inconvenience" - at the front desk.

Some from work suggested this hotel - which was just "decent." it was confusing to find off the highway since it has two entrances, one for a pay public parking lot or their own garage which looks like you are pulling into a "city building type" garage that has the doors closed. The door does open up once you pull near the pay gates. The entrance has a big staircase with no ramp. There is no one outside to help with bags. Service at reception was ok, but slow and their English is just passable. No vending machines, so you buy from their restaurant or the minibar (both expensive). Ok value for money and breakfast is way too expensive. The pillows and towels are worn and should be replaced

Nice hotel, good location in middle of city. Easy to find from highway. Service at reception was good - a bit slow in the restaurant. Good value for money as such but, breakfast way too expensive. Parking a public parking place just next to hotel.

Staying at this hotel was not our first choice , however after staying there it certainly will be for any future Messe shows in Dusseldorf. Usually we stay in the Old Stadt or downtown however staying at Neuss is a very pleasant alternative that is far enough from the maddening crowd , yet close enough to be at the exhibition within 20 mins. A good alternative situated in a nice(sic) village ... with all the luxuries one expects of a Novotel at a very reasonable price ... some very good Italian restaurants in the village and no trouble getting a table -- unlike in town during a Messe.. a pleasant change...
