We spent 20 days in Scotland, staying in ten different B&B. The general level of Scottish hospitality is very high: all the rooms was clean, all breakfasts huge and tasty, all owners nice and knowledgeable.
Valley View is no exception.
I loved the location, in a quiet little room five minutes driving from Thurso: Thurso is a small town with all the services you need, but a little bit gloomy, so I was happy to be outside instead.
The house is wonderfully decorated as the guest is a designer. Just be carefull to the breakfast room table, because is valuable and delicate.
We had a double with a private bathroom, outside the room, just opposite to the breakfast room. The house has a free wi-fi network, just remember to ask the password to the guest.
As we needed to catch the ferry to Orkey, we arranged a very early breakfast (at 7:15 am) and the guest was very nice about it.
