“Nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

We got to Ramot Hotel on very cold and raining weekend.
Cons:
1. no heating in kids room and in the bathroom.
2. no bed safety rail for a toddler is available
3. indoor public area is only the lobby and no kids room.
4. the Jacuzzi wasn't clean enough.

Advantages:
1. good size rooms
2. nice porch to sit in front of the cabin in good weather.
3. the food was good (although nothing to write home about it)
4. location

Probably we should give another chance in summer.

Room Tip: If you are staying in the wooden Nature Cabins ask for #65 or #64, they have the best view.

“Modern luxury in Israel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

The Ramot Resort is amazingly nice. Very modern rooms, superb breakfast, and beautiful public areas. Couldn't ask for a better place overlooking the Galilee.

“Oh My God!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

Too bad I didn't develop my pictures yet. This place is just plain the nicest resort I've ever been to.
We took a Chalet deluxe (number 36) for 3 nights. In the room there's a huge bed, Jacuzzi whirlpool, desk, breakfast counter with 2 tall stools, sofa, 48" flat screen that also plays from your DVD or USB, big bathroom and your own private Sauna!
From our very private backyard we had a gorgeous view of the Kineret and the surrounding hills.
Breakfast was very good although that much of a variety as other Israeli hotels have. Kudos to the Egg man that does his job well and with lots of patience.
The grounds and the swimming pool are very well kept too.
We rented a car so the seclusion of this resort wasn't really a problem for us.

Room Tip: get yourselves one of these private wood rooms. It's worth the extra buck

“Wonderful relaxing stay in great accomodations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

This is a place I just picked off the internet without knowing much about it - and we loved it. We stayed in the best cabin which provided us with all the little extras, private jacuzzi, sauna. walk in shower, expresso machine, refrigerator full of drinks (no extra charge), fireplace in season, TV with sorround sound and all the best cable channels (most hotels have a few english channels that are awful), private porch and garden overlooking the Kinneret, bathrobes & slippers. It even included one hour message (30 minutes each in room) and breakfast in room. Dinner buffetv was excellent, variety of good meats & sides, breakfast sufficient if not extravagent. Location perfect for sightseeing if you can drag yourself away. Comfortable pool and a mostly great staff especially in the dinning room. This is a place I highly recommend for a romantic get away - and one I hope to go to again!

“A Little Gem but it needs a few Tweaks”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

We took a log cabin with a second bedroom for the kids as per a friend's recommendation and we were impressed with the room and the views. The hotel pool was pleasant and I didn't need to wake up at dawn to save beds. The breakfasts were nice but nowhere near the same standard as some of the other hotels around Israel that are sumptuous but actually I was happy as I didn't want to over eat.
The little gripes I had were that the area behind the door in my kids bedroom was very dusty and was not cleaned at any point during our stay and I agree that trying to find information out about the hotel including the number to dial for reception was rather annoying, but when we did dial through the person on the other end was very courteous.
My kids went to the 'beach' but it was filthy and I am saddened that the Israelis are not more proud of their country that they litter one of their greatest assets.
Finally, we were offered a free in room massage which I have to say was really enjoyable.
Generally this was a lovely place. I would definately go back.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your staying in our hotel.
We are keeping high standards of cleanliness, care and landscaping in all of our facilities.
Importantly, the shores of the galilee sea, that located more than 2 miles from the hotel, are not part of the hotel and we are defenetly not responseble for them. We certainly agree that the level of maintenance in some shores around the lake are very poor.
We offer our guests a semi-Olympic pool and children's pool overlooking the Sea of Galilee.
We are hoping to see you and your family again in Ramot Resort Hotel.
