I always get nervous when booking a holiday on line as you never know what your getting . My rule of thumb is to never expect what is promised on a web site it's never quite as good as it looks, and usually i'm right. But not this Time! We were promised a warm welcome with excellent food and friendly helpful staff and that is exactly what we got.

The lodge is convenient for the main lifts and ski school , less than 10 minutes walk in boots with two children under 10 dropping their poles every two minutes . And convenient for the transfer drop off point.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable . We stayed in one of the Chalets upstairs and found the crog loft rooms easy and accessible. Although there was a sitting area in our chalet we always ended up sitting in the main lodge chatting to the Staff and other Guests.

The food was simply amazing from the delicious cakes to the three course meals and it w
as served and cleared with a smile.
It is not a Boutique Hotel - It is a chalet , and we enjoyed it so much we are going back again and i can't wait
p.s if your going with kids take swimming stuff - fab pool in Town - free to use with ski pass!

This was our second stay at the Dragon Lodge with the first being at the previous premisis in Tignes. Like our first time there, the second stay did not dissapoint. The location is central Tignes with a five minute walk to the AeroSki. The entire crew were made our stay unbeliveable from helping with board hire to taking us for an afternoon shredding the piste! Food was amazing and the standard was unbelivably high all week.

Cant praise enough the whole experience of staying at Dragonlodge : ) The whole crew made us more than welcome, the food was just great and everyone at the lodge whether staff or guests just gel together! Towards the end of the days skiing, just looked forward to the evening get together for dinner and off out for the evening, if you wished. Rooms are bunk style but clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning in the future - sooner rather than later. Thanks to the whole team

Thirteen of us stayed in the Lodge over Christmas 2007. The accommodation is basic but the place is warm and clean and is in a great location. The views are incredible and it is easy to walk to the lifts. The staff were very helpful and friendly and could not do enough for us. All thrirteen of us were surprised how good the food was (the chef was fantastic).

The price reflects the level of the accommodation but you will struggle to get better value for money in and around this ski area.
