If you like your ski hotel to have: Michilin star quality food and wine, ski in and out convienience, friendly helpfull staff who are allways there when you need them, comfortable well appointed rooms with sauna in the bathroom, open fire place, spa, wifi, loads of room, garage for your car, a barman who can now make the best dry Martini in France, all in a stunningly designed Alpine theme hotel then Montana is for you, we had the best ski holiday ever over Christmas, thourally recomended.

“Definitely not a four star hotel!”
This hotel is rated as a four star - look at it as a basic three star and you will not be disappointed. Whilst most of the staff were friendly and helpful, Sebastian who ran the restaurant was arrogant, unhelpful and lazy. His knowledge of French wines was non-existent - telling me (in a bored voice) that the Syrah grape is grown exclusively in Bordeaux, France does not produce any wines that are single grape varieties and the bottle I had chosen "tasted fruity and was red" I would expect the Maitre d' of a 4 star restaurant to be better informed!

“Great Ski-ing Hotel”

We have just come back from a fabulous week at Hotel Montana. Not only could you ski direct from the door of the hotel, but the hotel was excellent.
The rooms were large, showers were hot and powerful, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food in both restaurants was very good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to go half board during the ski-ing season as this is by far the best we have stayed in.
