The hotel was quite nice, with very friendly staff that try their best to help you to have a good stay and pretty good food too. You can ask your waitress if you like fondue one night if you have half-board for a week. If the snow conditions are good you can ski back in and the Village lift is only steps away. For ski rentals, Alpiski and Sport 2000 are places that offer fair prices for the equipment you receive. Sport 2000 also has very good pricing on snowsuits and the like with good service. For lunch and snacks, there is a food kiosk run by a Frenchman and an Oriental lady who both speak English that is situated downstairs on the bottom floor of the arcade facing the square. They serve baguettes and traditional baked goods as well as killer quiches, pizzas and sandwiches as well as the occasional oriental special..Their prices are right for what they offer.
Try not to miss the shuttle back up at night if you go into town!
