I was there one year ago. In the meantime management has changed (2010).
New managers seems to be willing to improve this residence.
(TV, reception newly paint, cleaener...)

Prices are in line with a very good value for money hotel
It is located on the Geneva Border.

Should have read some of the other reviews, this place is so bad. It's unclean, unsafe and I couldn't wait to leave.

This hotel is loacted in a quite location, close to big supermarkets and some industrie.
It is not far from the highway, which makes it a good place to stay for visiting geneve or just for passing by.
The interior is fondly equipped with many nice details. Rooms are mostly basic but ok.
It has a restaurant attached. Breakfast is nothing special, standard continental.
Reception is friendly and another plus is the closed parking area which will be locked by a gate around 11pm

I checked into my studio to find a dirty old top blanket covering my mattress which is just thrown onto the floor. The blanket was covered in a variety of stains, probably not a good idea to list what I think they are. This is an 'animal friendly' hotel (8 euros a day to bring a pet) so it's a good bet that they end up on the said 'dog blanket'
Under the blanket I found third party pubic hair, a problem my colleagues also shared in their studio and apartment.
I slept about 3 to 4 hours max per night as the mattress just reeks of stale bodies and urine. I complained to 'smiler' on reception but the problem of the bed was never solved.
Having had my mouldy breakfast the next day I ventured outside to be met by the crowd of locals all getting drunk at 8am (a daily occurrence)
Our complaints about the hotel were stonewalled and we were not offered any refund by the management.
It's not a studio, more like a place where you can imagine junkies would be plying their trade.
If I can save just one more person from staying here then it was worth writing this review
