This is a terrible hotel. The first room they gave us had a bathroom that smelled like it had never been clean. There was rust and mold on the appliances. The second room was only slightly better, with a shower that barely worked. No air conditioning and if you opened the window you were inundated by noise from the street that was next to the hotel.
I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. How could it be a three star?

I stayed at the hotel belle vue in August 2005 for 2 nights. It is a small family-run hotel up on the hills a short drive-away from le Lavandou town centre. The nearest beach is within walking distance. The room was an adequate size for us as we didn't want to spend much time in the room. The decor was a little dated. The bathroom and breakfast were nice. The major problem was that the rooms were not soundproof at all. We could hear people talking in the room next door, almost as if they were in our room. I have stayed in other 3 stars hotels before and think this one doesn't deserve its 3 stars. We were overall quite disappointed.
