My Wife and I stopped off here on our way through to Spain. I had stayed in a Campanile in the UK and knew they were basic but we were only stopping for one night and the location and price were right.
Reception was fine, helpful even. The guy on reception tried to make out he had no English but he did really and booking in was easy even though we have no French.
The room was basic and small, very small, but it was only one night.
The restaurant was fine. Food was good enough and cooked to order.
An OK stop over.

Just happened upon this by chance on the drive up from Portugal. Right off the Motorway junction at Saintes.
Campaniles are the same everywhere, but the staff here were very friendly, the food very acceptable, It was an oasis for a tired pair of travellers.
The room was fully equipped, clean and cool. Cars can be parked right outside so no need for carrying bags far.
We would visit again and find as with other Campaniles the amount charged for the room represents very good value.
