No frills Etap 500m by island there is a McDonals and good italian restaurant for evening meals. there are also supermarkets there. Drive into town but not spectactular. Good hotel for overnight stay. Breakfast good 'all you can eat' good selection.

We choose the etap hotel over another one we were viewing as we felt it would be better asit belonged to Acorr group hotel. the room was not very clean, the curtain was hanging of the rail,and the sink had no plug. but after nearly 12 hours of driving we wanted to just rest, this was very short lived due to the bed being uncomfitable and tippng you out. I had to sleep in the bunk above!. then to top it all the shower was broken so you had to hold it. the worsed hotel we have stayed in!!

I arrived early for an overnight stop on a tour of France and had to stand around in reception for twenty minutes for someone to turn up and check me in. This was done without a smile and with the absolute minimum of charm.
Having checked in, I went to the room, which was small and very depressing. Certainly not somewhere you would want to spend any time and there were only four French TV stations to keep you amused. There was no bar or restaurant and I didn’t expect either in an ETAP, but there was nothing near the hotel, so it was a bit like being in prison. I stayed in the room for five minutes, then collected my things and left.
You could stay here, but only if it is absolutely the last resort.
