After much difficulty we eventually found it, right on the edge of town on an industrial estate. Staff were friendly, but that's about all that we could complement.
The rooms are motel-style in a separate block, with external 'balcony corridors'. We were on the ground floor - our first impression on entering was that it was crawling with flies and other wildlife. We seriously considered cutting our losses and leaving then and there, but instead ventured out to the hypermarket to buy insecticide...
The room was allegedly supposed to be a triple, but the third bed was not prepared, and there was not really sufficient space to put it up, had we needed to. The air conditioning unit was badly located in an alcove so had little effect throughout the room, but the thermostat was on the wall just above one of the beds and clicked loudly all night.
The bathroom was shabby, not particularly clean and smelled fusty. We didn't spend a second longer in there than we needed to.
The shutters were noisy to operate, and we were disturbed by several other people closing their shutters. We could also hear every footstep taken by the people in the room above ours.
The restaurant was OK but nothing great. We decided to avoid the buffet, given the number of flies that we saw crawling around it.
The biggest concern, however, had to be the loose manhole cover at the edge of the path between the buildings - partially stepping on it caused it to move and open up the drain hole below - an accident waiting to happen.
In summary: fly-ridden, noisy, in a poor state of repair, and not the cleanest, but, on the plus side, an excellent view of the local JCB distributor...
