We used to stay here years ago and found it adequate for a 1 night stay before going on elsewhere in France. It had closed at some point 2 a couple of years ago and we were under the impression it had been refurbished. Got a room in the interior facing stairwell, rather than the balcony rooms overlooking Place des Armes. Room no 13, luckily not superstitious. 1950s mosaic tiling did not look as if it had had a scrub since installation and the shower was strangely around a wall and it appeared to look like a large urinal. The bedspread was stained but otherwise linen was clean enough. The worst thing was since we were last there the disco had set up next door, there was therefore continuous thumping from around 11 until 3 am the noise increasing around 2.30. Nightmare! Extras are garaging 9 Euros and breakfasts each 7.5. The TV didn't work when we got in either. Never again.
