'Was for make noise room next to nightclub and not sleep' 'Was for make noise hotel across from fairground'. What make they saying? If little sleeper not get hotel beside nightclub or fairground! Was very nice hotel for money, friendly people centre of town - town full of English drinkers but not fault of Calais, is fault of geology and big English drinktax - nice rooms and, I think Art Nouveau/Modernista facade. Why make complain?

Hotel Belazur is a tipical French pension. no frills value Hotel.with fre wi fi and It is well positioned with easy access from the Port or Tunnel.and lots of free parking two minutes walk away.
The main problem was the shower, it was so tiny (Room 7) the door opened about 35cm. 14inches, it had no soap dish, so if you droped the soap you had to come out to pick it up.all in all good value

Why do you stay in a hotel? A place to sleep. At about 11pm, the nightclub next door began playing music. It went on until about 3am. The noise was so loud it was impossible to sleep through. The walls were vibrating. We had to get up early for a ferry, we had only had about 2 hours sleep. Ridiculous.
Pictures of the hotel are misleading. The hotel room was dark and uninviting. Having to be given a, battered old, remote for the TV on check in was a nice touch.

All other reviews are correct - this is a DISCUSTING DIRTY SMELLY hotel - Noisy fairground right outside our room - windows will not shut properly - absolutly FILTHY Bathroom I cannot stress how DIRTY this hotel is - DO NOT stay here you will have MAJOR PROBLEMS and may be VERY ILL afterwards from the MUCK - It says it all when they have to keep the TV remote at reception - I felt VERY unsafe at this hotel - NOW, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
