We agree with all the positive comments from others, but offer one warning: avoid Room One!
We stayed at the Mercure at the end of what had been a very long day sitting in traffic in and around Paris. We had a pleasant welcome from a young lady who (unusually in France) sounded English. Being very tired, we decided to eat in, and found the choice and quality of the food very good.
The room, too, was very comfortable and well-equipped.
Our only mistake? We took Room One on the ground floor, not realising that it is directly next to some sort of storage room.
At around six next morning, we were woken by the voices of staff and the sound of (what we later discovered) were large, high-sided trolleys laden with towels etc., being banged against our wall. Sadly, we didn't manage to get back to sleep.
The breakfast was fine, though, and there was a large Auchun supermarket just across the road, where we stocked up on a few things for our final run to the Shuttle.
