Our 6th visit, now a Best Western hotel, renewed throughout, but still a three star hotel with four star ideas, but not fulfilling them ,even though the prices are four star. The hotel seams out of place in the woods, out of town, and still looking a bit tired in places.
The staff a fantastic, reception very helpful and friendly, the dinnings is 5 star at 3 star prices. The hotel in many ways out of touch with modern hotels although it is getting there. We always enjoy our stays, most of the visitors are French witl a sprinkling of other Europeans.A wonderful hotel if you are prepared to except a few differences to main stream modern hotels. WE highly recommend this establishment.

Stayed here to recover from drive to vendee before starting our holiday in Les Sables.
Hotel in a quiet area, great for cyclists. Pool very small and not heated. Rooms clean with good balcony. Staff helpful but reserved - not really a relaxed leisure hotel but service prompt and efficient.

stayed one night on a business trip, found the hotel ordinary and nothing special about it. Room was of a reasonable size with decent comfort, although it looked like it had been designed and decorated 20 years ago. hotel is quiet, not far from a very nice beach. the resort is a busy place, coastline of buildings, shops and restaurants for tourists. Not disappointed but one would expect more for the price.
