Got off ferry in the evening to rest before a long drive following day. My heart sank when I saw the outside, so did the family. Staff were welcoming enough though. Room on 2nd floor and whole stairwell looked tired. Room very small and very outdated. Paid Euro89 for the room with breakfast and I have stayed in far better for less.
Was attracted to this Hotel beause of comments from normally reliable feedback. Will not be joining their "loyalty card system".

Stayed one night and requested that heating was kept on which it was not. Room and hotel cold. Room clean good parking.

This hotel has a good central location. The staff were quite friendly and helpful - we were cycling through France and they stored our bikes securely. However, the rooms were a bit pokey, and the showers were tiny. I'm not particularly big, but I had trouble squeezing in - someone who is a bit on the heavy side might end up like winnie-the-pooh and get stuck half in and half out.

Overall not a bad choice, but I would look elsewhere next time.

Good location for exploring the town, secure covered parking in a side street close by (Euro 5 overnight, Euro 10 for 24 hrs), friendly staff speaking good English, decent continental breakfast, room a bit tired but ok, bed comfy. Boiler broke down 2 days before we were due to arrive so no hot water but they emailed us in good time and said we could cancel or have a 20% discount - took the discount! But it would have been good value anyway
