Stayed for a weekend break with friends. Hotel is situated in a modern block of shops on a busy street in the town centre, close to the harbour. A good location for exploring the town on foot. The rooms are small, basic and need refurbishment but are clean and adequate for a weekend stay. Breakfast is typical continental style, croissants, cheese, cold meat, jam etc served in the small area to the left of the entrance door, by the reception desk. The food was adequate. We had to pay 7 Euros each extra for the breakfast. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Television in room with one English language news channel, BBC World News. Our standard room was very short on hanging space for clothes but okay for a couple of days worth. Staff were very friendly and the male proprietor/manager allowed us to drop our luggage off early and carried our bags up to the room whilst we were out exploring. We had booked one of the limited number of car park spaces in the underground car park of a block in a nearby street, approximately 300yds away (10 Euros per day). If you use the car park be aware of scraping the front underskirt of the car at the bottom of the access ramp.
