This hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was basic, but well priced at only 58 Euros for one night between two. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. The room was a little small but we only used the room to sleep so it wasn't a problem. The hotel is a fair walk from town so i wouldn't advise if you are staying in Arras for a few days or looking for a comfort hotel. But if you're looking for somewhere to get your head down that's cheap, then this place does the trick.

I do dislike moaning about hotels for no real reason. but this hotel was just terrible!

Our family room was in the converted roof of building, and was like an oven, too hot to sleep, no air con or even a fan.

toilet flush was broken, we had to fill the bin with water to flush it.
Shower had no fix point so had to be held.
no tea or coffee making facilities in room.

When I complained, staff suddenly lost the ability to speak English, something that they had been able to do as we checked in. fortunately my wife does speak good French, so she took over..
We Were told it was the only family room available and if we wanted to complain we had to call the number on our booking reference.

No other help was offered.

breakfast was a croissant , pot of yogurt and orange juice.

Wont be staying again

We stayed in a triple room for £40 and unlike other hotels the three of us each had our own seperate bed, which was good. The room was basic but comfortable and certainly ticked all the boxes in terms of a good hotel to use simlpy for getting some shut eye. We arrived late and the self-service ticket machine made checking and getting the key very easy indeed. Would recommend to anyone need a cheap stop-over hotel.

This place is a nightmare if you like sleep. On our outbound journay we found that there was a music festival at the caravan site across the field which went on until 3 am. No sleep. This is a regular event apparently.
Also, a guest who sang out of his window in the middle of the night.
On the way back the staff chatted and smoked outside the back door just below the guests rooms late at night, again keeping us all awake.
They were unaware of our reservation, which was made and confirmed on the internet 9 months before, and tried to grossly overcharge us.
Insuffucient towels for our group. Flimsy walls and floors all leading to more noise and disruption.
