Stayed for one night with partner and baby on way back to UK from Switzerland. We stayed in a junior suite, splashing out for the last night of our holiday, and it was excellent - spacious, well equipped and with a beautiful terrace and view over the golf course (rabbits frolicking on the lawn outside in the morning). Staff were all extremely helpful, from those on the desk to those in the bar to the room service. (The hotel did not seem too busy - quite the opposite - so this may have helped them to be super attentive.) We had the 24 euro set dinner in our room, and it was very good value for the money, together with a reasonable bottle of wine. Breakfast was very nice, though over-priced at 14 euro - but this was just about the only thing that was exorbitant - everything esle including the bar was strikingly well priced. No hint of golf club snobbery here - we had an extremely enjoyable stay.

Spent one night here during a short tour of the WW1 battlefields. The hotel is right on the golf course in a quiet area about ten minutes drive from Arras town centre. We had a "comfort" room, which is the cheapest and most basic. It was clean, fairly spacious and perfectly adequate but with few frills. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant, which turned out to be a fairly charmless room downstairs. They served only a fixed price (24 euro) three-course menu with a couple of choices for each course. The food was adequate but reminded me of the fare you sometimes get at mass catered events i.e. designed to make things easy for the kitchen rather than to wow the diners - slice of pate to start, chicken or fish with a sauce for main and a slice of gateau or cheese to finish - you know the sort of thing. The hotel does have a separate a la carte restaurant in a different building so that might have been a better choice. Can't comment on the breakfast as we decided to take it in Arras. The reception and bar staff were very friendly and professional and the golf course looked attractive.

Our visit to the area coincided with a large conference and room availabilty appeared non existent. The holiday inn was full, yet the very helpful staff found us this hotel to stay in.

Having toured around various towns across belguim and france during the week this hotel was the most expensive, however, as it was the only one available we gratefully accepted. We agreed a double room for me and my partner and a single for my son. However, on arrival the lady offered us a family room which was considerably cheaper. I thought this was very fair of her, as it was quite late and they would proably not have had any more people booking.

The room was of a lovely standard, and my only regret it was for only one night.

We were quite disappointed . The staff was friendly but the room we were in (n° 5) was past its best. Furthermore the room was very hot for winter and had no airco. We opened a window but shortly after 6 am delivery started just underneath our room so we didn't sleep a wink from then on. Also the restaurant was not up to scratch. Food was served at a very fast tempo wich made us think of ready made and microwave. Low standard for French cuisine and therefore too expensive. We also were both unwell at night from the meal.
Next night we stayed in IBIS in Arras city centre at a third of the price and the stay was much more pleasant. We had a meal in La Faisanderie in the Grand Place and for 60 euro more than in Golf Hotel Restaurant, we had an superb meal with an extra course and coffee included.
If you want to play golf in Arras...stay somewhere else would be our advice !
