This hotel is wellplaced, moderately expensive (60 euros per night) and clean, everyone will agree to that.
However, If you are searching a place to rest, it will have to be somewere else: the rooms are very poorly soundproofed (unless you love listening and counting the steps of your neighboors at 0300 AM) and the manager does not care at all if you cannot sleep.

“A well run hotel with neat, if small, rooms”

This hotel is located in a pedestrian zone and public parking is a 3 minute walk away (Place de la Republique; free overnight 19:00 to 09:00 with 24 hr video surveillance). Access to the hotel is up a spiral staircase to the first floor reception and small breakfast area. Access to all floors is via further spirals.
The reception was very welcoming and helpful with local information. The spotless bedroom was fairly small but contained a firm double bed, LCD TV with many channels, worktop and bedside lights to complement the spotlights. Wi-fi was free. The en-suite was small, modern and very clean.
Breakfast was help yourself buffet style and was good value though meats and cheeses were lacking.
There was ample choice of restaurants in the pedestrianised streets nearby.
