Stayed overnight in room #2. Ideal for a family of 4 to 5. Rooms are quaintly decorated. Linnens and towels are clean. My only suggestions are: a curtain must be set up onto the glass bathroom door for privacy, an overhead shower holder, and reparation of the exhaust system in the toilet. The reception area is cozy but there's seldomly an attendant present. "A" for the location. Situated in between the lake and the city center. There's a very good traditional restaurant called Geromoise Brasserie that's a short walk away (this one's a must-try).
I haven't had the occassion to mingle much with the owner but he seems proper. However, I agree to what the other reviews insinuate, he has a "cunning" air. As when I paid the room he mistakenly wrote 10 euros more than what's due. He appologetically corrected it when I pointed out. I was hoping it was truly an honest mistake. All in all, very nice property but management needs improving.
