Really good hotel, with excellent helpful staff in a good quiet location. Went for a friends wedding, excellent help from the front of house staff with the booking and nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was fresh and clean, decor was new. Breakfast is worth booking, a thoroughly complete buffet to rival some of the best 4 and 5 star hotels! Downsides are tight (but manageable) parking which is charged for and slow WiFi access with incomplete coverage of the hotel. Minor aspects and didnt detract from the hotel experience at all. Would recomend and stay there again.

“hotel mercure epinal - family with children”
Basic hotel in the center of Epinal. Small rooms and noisy air conditioner/heater. Good restaurant.

“Basic services only but clean and quite”
Hotel is very well located downtown Epinal. I got a room on the last floor which was extremely small even by french standards. One had almost to jump over the bed to go around. But beside this, hotel was ok, good bed and very silent. Only very limited room service but a good restaurant within the hotel. The staff was ok but must learn to pay attention to persons in front of them rather than answering numerous phone calls. Avoid the parking if you have a large car.

“Nice and clean rooms”
I stayed at the Hotel Mercure for an extended time during a project I carried out in the region. There is not much negative to say about the hotel; the rooms are nice and clean, the service excellent. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast: fresh orange juice, great bread, and plenty of healthy options. Unfortunately, the hotel's swimming pool is more like a big bathtub, and no fitness room. Anyway, it is by far the best hotel in Epinal.
