We stayed in about 6 different Campaniles on our 3 week trip to France and they were great. Most had a good breakfast, a nice restaurant for dinner and were very clean. The staff were very helpful and would call ahead to book us in teh next Campanile on our route. They gave us ice when asked.
The hotels were well marked but usually on the outskirts of town. the room here was 75 E and breakfast was 9 E each. Dinner was 15E each. We did get tired of the menu but we could always eat elsewhere and sometimes did.
The rooms are not big but the bathrooms were the best we saw. Some had heaters or hairdryers. Many had coffee, tea, biscuits for us.
