We recently spent a week here and were pleasantly surprised by the location. We expected the hotel to be in a quiet residential area but had not expected the very scenic etang within 5 minutes walk. On the edge of the etang are several shops and restaurants. We found the Barracuda to be the best. The walk to La Grande Motte takes about 30 mins but we found that, by parking near the Casino supermarket, this could be reduced to about 10 mins. Our room overlooked the golf course and was quite spacious with tea and coffee making facilities, not always to be found in French hotels. Breakfast was good but didn't merit costing double the price charged in the Ibis hotels we have also stayed in. There was a slightly wider choice and more individual service but otherwise liitle noticeable difference. On arrival we discovered that parking within the hotel grounds costs 10 euros per night in July and August. We didn't feel that this was made sufficiently clear in information provided by the hotel.

it is a family friendly hotel which is placed quite far from the beach. great swimming poll and golf area. very poor breakfast and room service.

Stayed overnight at the Novotel for a conference in Montpellier.

Didn't get to see a lot in daylight and I am sure it is a lovely place in summer. Otherwise it seemed like a typical French hotel. I had a room on a bend in the hotel, which gave me slightly more space than most. Slightly smelly bathroom, lots of cheap furnishings but a comfortable bed, good balcony.

The breakfast buffet hit the spot. Coffee brought promptly, logging the room number seemed to matter more than keeping the fruit buffet stocked. However, plenty of variations to be had over breakfast with standard croissants etc and some hot elements.

Clean, tidy, effective but nothing outstanding. However, I bet it's different in the summer sun!

Pleasant hotel in quiet golfing area (set within golf course).

Limited shops and beaches etc nearby. Car essential. Secure, free parking at hotel.

Reasonable breakfast. Standard Novotel type rooms. Basically a good value break. Good base for exploring the area.

We would return.
