We count oursel lucky we found that lovely place! Sylvie and Francis are excellent hosts. They are not only great cooks they are also excellent in finding the perfect trip/walk for you. The atmosphere at "Les Cariolettes" is open and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. Being back in Sweden we miss the good food and the sunny weather.

Great little find! Sylvie & Francis make great hosts of this charming Gites/Chambres d\'Hotes. The food is very good and it is well worth paying the small extra charge for an evening meal. The dining arrangements make it ideal for mixing with other guests, with Sylvie and Fancis also doing a great job of looking after you. We were particularly fortunate to have stayed in the self contained studio. This has a sleeping loft and a fully functional kitchen area.

The location of the premises make it idea for either summer of winter visits. We were there specifically to ski, but it is not limited to this. It is a short drive to several ski stations, alternatively you can take the free ski bus. The nearest stop is a short walk from the house.

Font Romeu itself is a really nice, with a cable car that takes you from the centre of the town to the ski station.

In summary, a great place that's well worth a visit.
