The hotel was very nice, and the Silver Suite we stayed was comfortable for two adults and two small children. However, the air-conditioning was broken and the room temperature stayed at 30C all the time. The hotel gave only 10% discount on the room price which in our opinion doesn't show much responsibility from the hotel. In addition, we couldn't keep the windows open at night since there is a night-time amusement park across the street which is quite noisy. In summary, a very nice hotel to stay but in case of any problems, don't expect the hotel to carry their responsiblity of the deal.

I swear by the hotel group Chateaux & Hotels du France and found the Hotel du Golfe in this book. We loved it, the rooms were comfortable, clean spacious and quite. We booked in for one night and ended up staying for the rest of our holiday, only giving ourselves one day to drive north to Calais to catch the Eurotunnel. The pool and gardens were gorgeous and quiet. We did not eat in the hotel but drove into the centre each night as the hotel itself was very quite. There is a leisure park across the road but this did not cause any noise or concern at all.
