My wife and i stayed at the hotel du port for 4 days using the location as a base for trips around the area...

Never had an opportunity to eat there so i cant comment but a French coach party ate there most nights and seemed happy enough , so if a restaurant can please a French party of 50 it`s good enough for me !!.. The breakfast was ample and coffee great!

The main thing that struck us was how ` FANTASTIC` the owners were .. nothing was too much trouble for this family run business. Even their daughter helped out for breakfast in the mornings. They even gave us their contact number on the first day in case we got lost and needed help ! ...

The air con worked like a dream and was silent, chambermaids were friendly ( even took the trouble to fold my tee shirt i had left on the bed )

The location was fantastic ... for the evening walks along the coast we could leave the car at the hotel. Though in very busy periods i would say to book a car parking place in advance as parking could become restricted.

We loved perpignan and will be going back .. when we do we will def be going back to this Hotel .. if you have any questions about this Hotel please feel free to ask..

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel for 5 nights. We arrived early at the Hotel in the morning but this didn't seem to faze the receptionist, he quickly found us a room. The room was just what we asked for a room with a sea view right on the top floor ( only three floors ) , We didn't eat at the hotel but seemed that quite a few did so cant comment on this. The position of the Hotel was great just 100mtrs form the beach and the harbour, we did manage to park at the Hotel be it a bit tight,.
My advice would be to take a small travel kettle and a hair drier if needed.
A must is to take the small train that goes in a circuit around the front of the Hotel it takes 1 hour to complete and cost 3 Euros this way you can get your bearings.
We used the Hotel as a base to explored further a field as we picked up a hire car from the Airport on arrival, finding the Hotel was quite easy as well sign posted on the main road.
People didn't speak English but they did try and didn't seem to mind our broken French . ( need to learn more French for next time)
We will definatly will go back and stay here again.
Parking in Perpignan city was not great.
Places to visit : Carcassonne Castle is a must and Port - Vendres go early for parking.
