Firstly, I have to point out that the location shown on trip advisor is somewhat out, although close. The exact location is Lat 42.533670º N Long 3.061971º E

We had a lovely stay here, the rooms are clean and sizeable and the staff are very friendly. The pool is perfect for those with young chdren. Ours are 9 and 11.

The breakfasts are good, served till 1030 which was good for us. Sadly there is no food in the evening, so a drive was always needed, hence o ly 1 beer all day :-( This was also hampered by the fact that in high season, even driving the 2pm to the port, could easily take 40 mins due to the sheer volume of traffic let alone the problem with parking.

A lovely venue for a stay, but the constant need to drive everywhere, did get us down a little.

Would recommend for a short stay, not a long one.

Firstly, this is a beautiful hotel and the pool area is great and we spent almost the entire time lazing by it.
The reason I was disappointed was for all the small reasons. I may be being pedantic but when I am paying EUR260 per night I would like to at least have tea and coffee making facilities in my room, you can purchase tea and coffee from reception during the day, but very expensive for something that should really be complimentary. My free wifi was barely receivable and could only just be picked up by laptop, not at all by phone/PDA/iPad. The shower leaked water all over the floor which we constantly had to get extra towels to clean up. Also, we had great view of a little concrete wall. Was disappointed to be allocated a room with no view. When I asked if we could change rooms I was told I should have stipulated for a ocean view when I had made the booking. I know this has been mentioned before, but there really is nothing to eat after 5pm. Not a big issue as we had a car. Breakfast was average but limited, my wife is vegetarian and apart from pancakes there is no hot breakfast for her. There is also no breakfast menu only buffet.
Argeles-sur-mer is a great little tourist town that I now know is famous for it camping grounds. When driving around the area went to Collioure....WOW is all I can say, will definitely be staying there next time I come here. Beautiful historic seaside town that is beautiful. My advice...try and stay there.
Good points, room was good sized, comfortable and clean.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful location. We only had one night here and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was huge and spotless and the breakfast in the morning was excellent (they had pancakes!). It is a bit out of town so you need a car if you want to head to the beach or to a restaurant. The pool and hottub looked great, we wish we had time to enjoy them,

We stayed at Les Mouettes and because a review said about the noise from the road and railway we had a garden view, Well the noise from road and railway were insignificent and please stay in a room with a sea view where the rooms are much larger the breakfasts were very good and very complete the hotel is spotless the pool and jaccuzzi excellent staff vey helpful you can get snacks all day but there is no restaurant but the Argeles Port three minute drive away has a superb range of eating places
