This hotel is basically designed for the needs of a business person. I would compare the room to a Uk travelinn/travelodge. After staying for one week, I would value one of my nights stay in a family room at £60-£70 per night maximum. This is taking into account the location and the season. A french traveller may value it higher, based on the swimming pool, restaurant, bar and kids club. These were of no use to us, as hotel is 100% french and language/socialising was a major problem. Our daily rate worked out at £140 per night. This did not include breakfast, which was approx £22 per day for 2 adults and 1 child.( There is however a mcdonalds nearby that serves a delicious brekky for approx £8). Each room also includes a rip-off mini bar. This is obviously intended for the business person with a juicy expense account. Prices started at around £2.80 for a can of coke. The room also has no tea or coffee making facilities, or a normal fridge. Everything is designed to rinse that expense account!
Tv lovers beware also. Each room has rubbish french TV, and the hotel reception has rubbish french tv.
To conclude; only go to les alberes if if you are a)french or b) a business man with a fat expense account.
PS The rooms do look a bit tired.
