“Value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2011

Our family (myself with wfe and our two kids aged 14 and 8 ) stayed here on our short holiday in July . We selected this hotel primarily because of the spacious suite rooms - 1 double bed and two single beds. This ensured that we did not have to book two rooms as we wanted to stay together on our holiday.
The hotel is conveniently located near RER B station La Plaine Stade de France ( 5 - 10 min walk). The train connectivity from here to major tourist destinations is excellent. Gare de Nord station is just one stop away ( 5 mins ride) , so easy access to the Thalys train connecting us to Belgium.
The hotel itself was neat , clean and compact tucked away just opposite the gigantic Stade de France stadium. Rooms were provided with all basic amenities - mini fridge , microwave , coffee maker , television ( though with very few English channels). The washroom with shower cubicle and tub was adequate. An additional smaller washroom with only a toilet was a good idea for a family of four staying together in a room.
The two discordant notes were (1) the poor internet connectivity (complementary suite box) - frustratingly slow connection (2) The neighborhood is not the friendliest place in Paris so it is recommended to be watchful if you are out late at night.

The neighborhood has some mid-range cafes , a MacDonald's outlet and of particular interest to us - a decent Indian restaurant serving authentic stuff.

On the whole this hotel is value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

“Great location”

I have stayed at the Suite on numerous occassions on business and it has always been a fantastically reasonble priceed hotel to stay. It is right opposite the Stad de France and is a very popular hotel (advance booking recommended).

It is about a 10 minute walk from a main train station with very frequent trains into the centre of Paris. It has a breakfast area which is ok, and a fridge where youcan buy packaged meals to heat in your room using the microwave, but to be honest you have two or three reasonable restaurants within about 50 metres of the entrance.

The rooms are very well equiped and spacious considering the cost of the hotel compared to many Paris hotels. It has a shower, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, microwave, room divider if you have children and you want them to not be disturbed whist you watch TV.

I stay here for business reasons, but would seriously consider using this hotel as a base for a holiday to Paris.

Staff have always been very helpful and friendly.

Okay so I found this looking on the accors website and actually looking for ibis or the cheaper formula ones since there was a few of us but found the novotel suite weekend package at £202 for a massive suite room. Booked two rooms one for my sis her hub n 2 kids aged 14 and 11 and 1 room for me n my hub. Double beds spacious, with extra mattress underneath along with sofa bed, all comfortable, lovely bathroom with bathtub and shower, hairdryer etc and seperate wc! Suite Box TV includes normal TV along with Movies about 70 including latest films, internet access on tv too with keyboard. Room also has own mini fridge, kettle, bottle of small evian complimentary and even microwave! Pretty impressive actually! Double bed along with bathroom can be split off by the use of bamboo style room slides so you can spplit your kids off for added privacy. Ample space in room with table and chairs to comfortably eat.
Free wifi code given at reception however make sure you go into the internet on your phone and you will see a message in the browser click on the british flag so you can read in english it basically asks you to accept the t&c and click on accept to access free unlimited wifi via the hotel. Wifi wont work until you do this as we kept trying our apps on iphone and then I figured that I had to accept first through safari on my phone.

Breakfast was great actually, really tasty croissants, pain au chocolates albeit mini ones but ask them and they bring you more. Selection of various bread rolls, orange, apple juice, water, high quality darjeeling tea bags, machine for hot watter and coffee etc. Couple of cereal selections but main thing was selection of yoghurts, cake options and nuts and various different things actually and even boiled eggs.

So to be honest really dont know what people were complaining about this hotel. For less than £70 a night inc breakfast in zone 2 Paris, was an absolute bargain.
It is a 5-10 min walk from the RER line B station La plaine Stade de France, which is on the line direct from airport and takes about 20-25 mins from airport. Then on the fast train its 10 minutes to the central zone 1 Gare du nord station and very easy to catch metro to all around central paris. Also as its Zone 2 its cheaper to get the travel card. We bought the Mobilis travelcards which are significantly cheaper at 6.30 euros for the day compared with the Paris Visite card which is about 10-11 for same zones. The only difference is paris visite is a tourist specific travelcard and gives you a bit of discount at selected attractions and museums in paris. Also on weekend and bank holidays you can buy tickets Jeunes for under 26 year olds which is 3.50 day travelcard otherwise mobilis doesnt have child discount.

Few cafes around a couple of streets away great indian restaurant with fairly good prices 8 euros for a curry an 2 euros per naan or chappati curry enough for 2 people other than that hotel sells food which can be warmed up in microwave along with drinks etc.

So there you go, I thought it was a fantastic stay! Right opposite the Stade de France, similar to London Wembley!

Au Revoir!

“Very nice and friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

We stayed in this hotel on a family trip to Paris. The hotel is located very near the A1 Autoroute du Nord, next to the football/rugby Stade de France, with the railway station La Plaine-Stade de France in a five minutes walking distance. With the RER express train from here, you travel in ten minutes to the corner of the Notre Dame cathedral in the very centre of Paris.
The rooms were spacious, ever for our family of four, and clean.
Breakfast was basic but sufficient.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
