We selected this hotel because of the extraordinary good price, and since we travelled by car, we thought that the location is not very important, it was OK to drive 15 minutes to the center of Paris. But we were wrong! The last night we returned to the hotel at 1am, and the parking lot within the fenced hotel area was completely full. Right outside the main gate there was a car with a smashed window already! Of course I did not want to take the risk of a smashed window (my car has Swiss number plates, which even raises the risk!), so I parked in an illegal space inside the fenced area (but not blocking anybody else). The hotel manager was not too pleased about my choice the next morning, even though I removed the car from this location at 7h30.
The room was real simple, Etap-Style. Breakfast, well, what can you expect for EUR 4.70? Very simple. There are several dinner options. The hotel provides 15 % discount vouchers for the Ibis restaurant and the courte paille restaurant. There is also a Mac Donalds nearby and some other hotels which may have restaurants. There is also a disco in the area which robbed our sleep on Saturday night.
Would I recommend this hotel? No! Because I think that yelling at a client is the wrong attitude. Ultimately it is the hotel's responsibility to provide sufficient secure parking space, the client can't be blamed. There are other hotels nearby, I am sure you can find similar rates there.
