On 16 hr. layover, we selected this hotel for location--two stops from airport--and price. The hotel was adequate/modest: clean room, nice bathroom, good towels, tv with 2 English channels, great price (we had a family room, which would sleep five, 75 Euro/$91) Problems: (1) Two of five beds had no box springs. Possibly more, cannot remember (2) June 7, no air and the window opened onto interstate. (3) Phone did not work, but clerk offered to knock on door for wake-up after determining fault was in jack. (4) Within long walking distance of train station, but MANY stairs, some into and out of urine-soaked passages, and no ramps for luggage. (5) It does sit on edge of Parc du Expos, but weedy trail leads from parc to entrance. (6) Also, there were no lights for our trek across the lots of the Parc, which was intimidating/ dangerous on our midnight return from Paris. This huge complex is deserted when there is no expo (7) Upon asking for taxi for dawn return to station, were told trip too short to be worth it for driver. (Taxi for airport, but not nearby train station.) Without luggage and daylight navigation, super value. Price might apply only to time of no Expo. With Expo there should be plenty of lights and security as well. Hopefully, they might even hose down the passageways.
