“Near the airport; Shuttle ride is about 15-20 minutes”

Air France put me up here after a missed connection.

Check in - very easy, I gave them my voucher and I was on my way to my room.

Room - It was a basic room; the bed was comfortable and the pillows were decent. There was complimentary water in the refrigerator, which had plenty of space for other items if needed.

Restaurant - I had dinner. The service was good and prompt. Tasty food - as it was late, i just had an appetizer and dessert. As with many places in Paris, drinks were expensive... My Diet Coke was 4.50€, which was about 25% of the total bill.

This room was not sound proof and there was a lot of noise from aircraft taking off from CDG. Looked like single pane windows was the probable culprit. I think this would bother light sleepers.

Check Out - initially, the desk agent wanted to charge me for my dinner, claiming it was above the 26€ included with my AF voucher. I'd only spent 19.40€ so I was pretty certain I should not be paying anything...eventually, he realized that someone else's bill was in with the folder containing my room information.

Shuttle - I caught the hotel bus from the train station at CDG. It runs about every 20 minutes and you just need to look for the bus with the right logo/hotel name on it. There was no charge for the bus. Leaving the hotel, the first bus is at 519am, which would affect those with really early departures.

After boarding at the T2 train station, the bus made two other hotel stops first - the Accor and Suite Novotel. From the Mercure, the bus stops at T1/T3 and the AF offices before heading to the R2 train station.

Room Tip: Interior rooms may have less plane noise.

“Not my favourite hotel... but OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

I spent a night here at the expense of Air France. Was given a very basic ground floor room with card operated lights, separate toilet and bathroom, shower gel but no washcloths, minimal towels. The room had been refurbished, but not very well. A bit noisy from the corridor. There was a good work area but overall this was not an attractive place. While I didn't have to pay for the room, the posted rate was 110 to 392 euro plus 18 euro for breakfast. I find this expensive for this quality of hotel.
The breakfast, by contrast was excellent. I loved the artisan bread the hot and cold buffet, the fancy coffee machine but most of all the orange juice machine which was loaded with oranges which were squeezed automatically when a glass was put under the spout ... very neat and good OJ!
Several people have commented on the shuttle service, and I also had trouble. The pick up area is not so easy to find and requires long walks and a train shuttle at the airport. When the shuttle eventually came we drove around for about 30 minutes before reaching the hotel, passing in front of the airport twice. This is unacceptable. Suggestion ... share a taxi with others to get to the hotel. On the way back to the hotel, the driver stopped at the hotel for about 1 minute before taking off ... not enough time to even get outside with our bags. Eventually I caught up with him at the curb by banging on the door. His excuse ... 'I have a schedule to keep!!!'

We were pleased with the hotel. We had room 34. The bed was very low to the floor and very soft. If we had time we would asked for a different room. We took a meal at the bar, the service and quality were good. We will again stay at the hotel. The parking fee for a car is high.

“Their digital scale saved us a bundle!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

We stayed here the night before a flight home to San Francisco. We've stayed at other hotels in Roissy before and decided to try this one because we found a good rate. They allow pets and have free wi-fi....two mandatory criteria for us. The room was comfortable and spacious but not as soundproof as the Kyriad (now Golden Tulip) or the Campanile down the street. The food was a bit pricey for it's quality but a digital scale near the reception area saved us a bundle of money. Some of our bags were overweight and others were underweight.....the scale allowed us to equalize the weights before check-in. I'd recommend staying here just for the scale.

“Good, comfortable hotel near CDG airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2011

Stayed here overnight on my way to the US as i am an Accor club member. First time in this hotel and only once before at a Mercure in Morocco which was horrible. This Mercure was a comfortable stay. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. The shower and bathroom very clean. Personnel at reception very friendly and helpful. Free WIFI in the room was a plus. I booked online and got a reasonable rate for this area. Overall it was a good decision for an airport hotel near CDG. The BLACK BUS hotel shuttle stops right in front of the hotel.

Room Tip: Pet charge if you have one but was not outrageous.
