This hotel is located on the second-to-last stop on one of the Metro lines, just outside of the Peripherique highway that defines Paris' border. With the somewhat out-of-the-way location, though, you get a much lower price than you would paid in central Paris. Plus, you won't feel at all like a tourist since virtually no one you will hear in the hotel or on the street will be using a language other than French. There are numerous excellent bakeries within just a couple of blocks of the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity in case you don't want to go back into Paris after returning to the hotel after a day of sightseeing. You can also walk pretty easily from the hotel to the 16th or 17th arrondisements or to Neuilly. Sleeping-wise, the room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning effective. The breakfast was included in our room rate and was adequate. Finally, Natalie (one of the people working the desk) was extremely pleasant. She even qualified us for a lower room rate!
