PARIS: THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS -LE BOURGET/GARONOR

We have just returned from a 2 week drive around France, which we visit almost every year. As Platinum and Gold members of PRIORITY CLUB REWARDS which includes HOTELS such as INTERCONTINENTAL, CROWN PLAZA, AND OF COURSE HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS, we thought our stay in PARIS would be Great. The hotel we stayed was a disaster. To start off the gentleman at the CHECk-in counter was as rude as rude can be. We were told we could have coffee upon our arrival since our rooms weren't ready, and since breakfast is included and we had arrived at breakfast time, we opted to have some cappuchino's from the machine. What a surprise when the employee gave us a bill of almost 7 Euros(ABOUT 9 DOLLARS) along with out room key. When we complained to him, he laughed and said they were a business and were in the business of making money. As if that wasn't enough to start you off on the wrong foot, the room was the size of a bathroom with barely enough room to place your bags on floor and walk around them. (I KNOW EUROPEAN ROOMS ARE SMALL, BUT THIS WAS INSANE)Later that night we asked if we could have 2 extra pillows and the hotel flat out said sorry we don't have anymore pillows in the entire hotel. In addittion our cable tv wasn't working and we had to call someone to fix it from the staff, the entire roof of the bathroom was filled with disgusting patches of some black mold, which we have pictures of, and the shower didn't have a curtain which caused my father in law to fall twice while trying to take a shower. I know this should be enought to make anyone think twice before staying here, but if it's not then aslo know that the room stunk the 2 days we were there, and the hotel is located in a horrible industrial area of the city, far from the actuall center, full of grafitti, and when we finally had the chance to have breakfast it was lackluster, this was the first time i had a stale croissant and baguette at the same time. JUST DONT STAY HERE, there a bunch of other NICER HOLIDAY INN'S AND other hotels closer to the center of PARIS FOR THE SAME AMOUNT AND SOMETIMES EVEN LESS.
